Early Intervention
Birth through 3 years of age is a critical time for language development, speech development, social skills, gross and fine motor development. Therapy consists of interactions on the floor at the child’s level with consistent communication models and play.
Voice & Resonance
Voice and resonance disorders can be a result of psychological, physical and/or physiological issues. Polyps, Vocal Modules, granulomas, thyroidectomy, vocal overuse/abuse, Parkinson’s Disease, Spasmodic Dysphonia, vocal performance, Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion (PVFM), and head/neck cancers are among the issues we address.

Augmentative &Alternative Communication
Verbal communication can be impaired for a variety of reasons in adults and children with complex communication needs. Speech generating devices, picture symbols, and visual schedules are examples of alternative communication.
Articulation & Language
Thorough evaluations and treatment of a variety of speech and language deficits. Whether developmental or a result of a medical event, all speech and language deficits can be addressed in a personalized manner.
Feeding & Swallowing
Dysphagia can impact everything from when the food enters the mouth, until it enters into the stomach. A variety of feeding and swallowing difficulties can be addressed, from difficulty bottle feeding, transitioning from purees to solids, oral aversions, to difficulties swallowing due to a medical event/diagnosis. Safe and pleasurable eating/swallowing is always the goal!
Cognition
Impaired cognition can be a result of a stroke, traumatic brain injury, head/neck cancer, or a learning disability. Together we focus on areas of need such as problem solving, understanding non-verbal language cues, and executive functioning.
